March Awakening

There is a moment when something inside you begins to wake up.

Sometimes it happens quietly. A thought you can’t shake. A feeling you can no longer ignore. A realization that changes the way you look at your life.

For me, awakening has never meant suddenly having all the answers. It is much more about finally seeing what has been there all along.

The daffodils became a symbol of that first moment of awareness. They are among the first flowers to appear after winter – delicate, yet determined to emerge from the cold.

Just like the flowers, we sometimes need to find our way through a season that feels uncertain before we can see where we are going.

The background of this painting was created with melting snow, allowing the colors to move freely across the canvas. I had no complete control over where they would go. And perhaps that is what makes it feel so fitting for this chapter: before we can choose our direction, we first have to accept where we are.
