I painted Living Earth in spring, when the world slowly begins to wake again. There is something about that moment that has always stayed with me.
The earthy scent of damp soil, the first green shoots breaking through the ground, and the quiet feeling that life is beginning again beneath the surface. The earthy browns and touches of green reflect this transition from stillness to movement, from resting to growing.
For me, Living Earth is a reminder of the natural cycle of life. Everything changes and transforms, but energy never truly disappears. It simply takes on a different form.
A painting about renewal, continuity and the quiet energy of life moving forward.
