In this painting, coffee takes the lead. The darker tones dominate the canvas, built layer by layer with thinned acrylics to create the depth and fluidity of coffee. The lighter cream moves around it in thicker layers of colour, mirroring the heavier, richer texture of cream.
Rich, deep and a little more coffee than cream, perhaps this one is for those who like their coffee just that way.
