There is something bittersweet about the end of summer. The days are still warm, the sky is full of color, and yet there is a quiet feeling that the season is slowly beginning to let go.
Autumn Travelers was painted in August, during that gentle transition between summer and autumn. Three wild geese cross the peaceful evening sky, while the water below remains almost completely still, with a small boat resting quietly on its surface.
The birds seem to carry a message of their own: sometimes it is time to move on, even when you are not quite ready to say goodbye. And perhaps there is something beautiful about that. The end of one season makes space for another - for quieter days, slower moments and a different kind of beauty.
Watching the birds leave, there is a sense of peace in letting summer go. Not because it wasn’t beautiful, but because it was.
A painting about the bittersweet beauty of transition, the art of letting go, and finding peace in knowing that every season has its time.
